HAPPY BOX - PAY IT FORWARD
Asiki is proud to be a Sydney drop-off point for the Happy Boxes Project. Help us pay it forward, empower women and girls and spread happiness.
Happy Boxes provide toiletries and beauty products to woman and girls living in remote communities around Australia who are struggling to access and afford basic necessities.
HERE’S WHAT YOU CAN DO TO GET INVOLVED:
- Drop off your own ‘Happy Box’ to our Erskineville store, any time during opening hours. Putting together Happy Boxes is a great group initiative too! We get many donations from groups of friends and work colleages.
- Make a donation towards the cost of shipping products to remote communities. $20 covers the cost of sending 5 kilos of Happy Box contributions to a remote community.
- If you would like to make up a selection of goods to send from our store, please add to your cart and purchase as usual, but include a note at checkout saying that your products are to be sent to Happy Boxes Project.
- We will ship to whichever remote community Happy Boxes Project is currently supporting.
Creating your own box? Here are some ideas on what to pack:
Desirable goods include shampoo, conditioner, soap, face wash, deodorant, sanitary items, hair brush, hair ties, toothpaste, toothbrush etc
Luxury items may include incense, lip balm, make up, perfume, candles, deodorant, body lotion, moisturiser, face masks, bath salts, hair accessories, notepads, and mindfulness activities.
