The outer layer protects produce by preventing the water within the middle layer from drying out too quickly.
The thick, absorbent middle layer holds most of the moisture, drawing water away from the fresh produce while allowing it to hydrate as needed.
The inner layer provides a dry, protective barrier that keeps your produce from getting too wet and allows it to breathe.
How to use: Dampen your veggie saver by rinsing under the tap and then wringing out excess water. Fill with fresh produce and store in your fridge crisper. Sprinkle with water from time to time to keep bag damp. If storing on fridge shelf, you may need to add extra water to prevent bag from drying out.
Care: Cold machine wash before first use and dry naturally in sunlight. Machine wash every 2-3 weeks or as needed to keep clean.
Packaging: Cardboard packaging is home compostable and recyclable.
End of life: Veggie bag is biodegradable and home compostable. Fabric breaks down faster if first cut into smaller pieces.
